Serving Wayzata
Drive time from our Minneapolis base: roughly 25 minutes west. Wayzata and the Lake Minnetonka shoreline are among the Squad's highest-value residential markets, and they get planned differently than an inland lot.
The lake changes the design problem twice. First, sightlines: a lakefront house is looked at from the water and from the road, and those are two different elevations. A plan that only lights the street side leaves the whole lake side dark - which on Minnetonka is the side people actually see you from. Second, wind: open-water exposure tests a run harder than a sheltered inland roofline, so on exposed elevations we tighten clip spacing, cut runs to reduce unsupported strand, and seal every connection against driven snow.
Big elevations get measured, not estimated. Wayzata homes tend to be large and complicated - multiple rooflines at different heights, deep overhangs, boathouses and outbuildings, mature trees, and long approaches. Every run is measured and cut on-site. On a house this size, the difference between a good install and a great one is entirely in the transitions between roof planes, and you cannot get those right from a package.
No holes in anything. All-clip attachment on shingle, gutter, and fascia. Nothing stapled, nailed, or glued to stone, cedar, or finished trim.
Boathouses, docks, drives, and trees. These are normal parts of a Minnetonka plan and get quoted as separate items so you can see what each adds.
Spring takedown, off-site storage. The Squad pulls everything down in the thaw window and stores your labeled strands. Nobody climbs a lakefront roof in a Minnesota winter.

Permanent LED on a Lake Minnetonka property
This is the strongest permanent-lighting market the Squad serves, and there are three reasons that are specific to Wayzata.
The roof. A large lakefront elevation is the last roof in Minnesota anyone should be climbing in the spring. Permanent means nobody does - ever.
The season. These houses are looked at from the water all summer and from the road all winter. A permanent system with warm white as the standing setting keeps the architecture visible twelve months a year, on both elevations, rather than for six weeks.
Part-time occupancy. A number of Minnetonka properties are not lived in year-round. App control means the house lights on a schedule whether you are there or not - which is both a look-after-the-property argument and a simple "the house should not sit dark all winter" argument.
